RC International School, Hesaraghatta we had a well- established trip to Mysore on 17/01/2020 that focuses primarily on student interest. As a brand, we tailor-make educational tours every year from our RC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. This helps students to understand, experience and learn outside the confines of a traditional classroom. All of this is coupled with loads of fun and travel around the world.

Early morning we departure at 6 AM from the Bangalore, On the way, in Mysore road, we visited a Lord Aprameya Swamy temple and with blessings of Lord Krishna, we continued our journey to Mysore. Soon exactly at 8.AM, we had breakfast which was prepared by our own referred professional cooking chefs in our CBSC schools in Thammenahalli which we have arranged from Bangalore to serve breakfast, lunch, evening snacks as well as dinner, it was really exciting for our students where we give our first preference towards students health and hygiene of food.

The first place we visited in Mysore was the Mysore zoo, which is one of the 10 most popular zoos in India. It is officially known as Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens. It sprawls over a huge area of 157-acres. This makes is one of the oldest and most popular zoos in south India as well as Asia. Mysore zoo is home to the largest number of elephants compared to any other zoo in India. Currently, it houses around 10 elephants. Apart from elephants, our students in CBSE schools in Chikkabanavara enjoyed some of the other exotic fauna includes striped Hyena, Jungle cat, Asiatic black bears, African Elephant. It is also the only zoo in South Asia to host a Gorilla. Apart from this, the zoo is home to Bengal tiger, Indian wolves, giraffe, leopard, hippopotamus, rhino, crane, swan, zebra, and many other animals and reptiles and also students excitedly watched the birds being fed. At our Smart schools in Hesaraghatta main road, our teachers also explained the students about the animal adoption program in Mysore zoo which has been a great success. It provides all the facilities to adopt an animal right from our home. Overall the zoo visiting session was very well spent. The children enjoyed it to the fullest. It gave us the feeling of fulfillment and made the trip a success.
